Its day seven and I’ve been doing this for a week. It’s been going well. I went out to dinner and had sautéed vegetables with chicken and an iced tea. I was quite proud of myself. My friend's dinner looked amazing though! I also went to the gym to work-out and the power was out in their electric cardio machines. As a result I left and decided to do the loop around the development by the apartments. I jogged part of the way and walked up the steep hill. I also walked most of the rest of the way but I did lunges and different exercises to maximize the work out. As a result I have shin splints. Just one more reason to hate running. I want my elliptical back!
Part 2: I have been obsessing over recipes lately. I just want to cook and eat. I feel like a crazy person or something.
Omg, me too with the recipes! I try to search for healthy ones (which helps), but even those have some things that I can't eat. I even found a whole website on how to recreate Olive Garden meals! They are supposed to be right on too. Usually what I do is this (I think this might sound like I'm a crazy person too), I find recipes and make them for David and don't allow myself to have any (except for one small bite to taste). I make sure that when I'm cooking I'm not hungry too. It's so weird though, it's like I put myself in this horrible temptation place, but it's so relaxing when I cook! So far I've been alright... We'll see how this all plays out. Good luck and congrats on the first huge weight loss!
ReplyDeleteThats a great idea. Unfortunatly, I have no one to cook for, so I'm still in the same position. But I'm glad things are going well for you!! (I already know about the Olive Garden website and have made a recipe from said website, fantastico!)
